How to marry the emotion and freedom of nature with the sophisticated life we live in the city was the impetus for the collection said Donna Karan. Sky water, wind, sand earth and fire were the elements in a collection comprised primarily of dusty neutrals in tones of grey, stark white, sand, and rose, with the occasional pop of orange to keep the show interesting. The winsome frocks in moody neutrals were complemented by bronze body makeup that illuminated the skin giving the models a sun-kissed glow. Accessories were minimal, but those that were shown brought drama to each silhouette, fantastic hats by Stephen Jones, oversized chunky chain necklaces and sexy suede platform sandals.
